She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Harvey Woody and Esther Barlow Woody; her husband Rupert Hartsell Hargette; and her sisters, Marjorie Woody Fisher and Betty Jean Buchanan.
She is survived by: her sons, John Woody Hargette (Beth) and Paul Hudson Hargette (Andrea); her grandchildren, Ashley Hargette Schroeder (Brandon), Madison Hargette Shreve (John), Paul Hudson Hargette, Jr. and Noah Raye Hargette; her nieces, Deborah Mahaffey (Stan) and Tammy Patsey; and her nephew Dan Fisher (Ty).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
