She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Brock and Edna Brock; her husband Donald H. Bowen; and her siblings, Evelyn Persells, Louise Carter Ping and Ray Brock.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Bowen of Waynesville and Don Bowen (Sharon) of Gainesville Georgia; her granddaughter Lindsay Bowen of Waynesville; her great grandchildren, Adalynn and Elliot of Waynesville; and her brother Richard Brock (June) of Union City, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
