It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jane Swanger of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn Putnam and Bertha Putnam; her husband Michael Swanger; her son Matthew Swanger (Michaela); her siblings, Wanda Parton (Ricky), Glenda Stewart (Steven) and Ted Putnam; her nephews, Trevor Parton, Steven Putnam and Samuel Stewart; and her son Joseph Swanger.
