She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Smathers and Inez Derrick Smathers; her husband Troy Stamey; and her siblings, Gene, Gordon, Kenneth, Bud Smathers, Carene Lewis, Bessie Wood, Mildred Medford, Dorothy Clark and Phyllis Roper.
She is survived by: her sisters, Judy Smathers and Pat Nix; her stepdaughter Tina Reyes (Matias); her stepgrandson Dakota Stamey; and her friends, Sam, Wanda Pressley, Kenneth and Tina Stines. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
