It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Shelton Rhinehart of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her siblings, James Messer of Clover, SC, Geneva McDowell (Asheville) and Wilma Drew of Casselberry, FL; her sister-in-law Effie Yarborough (Waynesville); her children, Debra Mintz (James) of Waynesville, Trenia Sims (Calvin) of Tuckasegee and Jonnie Sue Kirkpatrick (Rick) of Lake Junaluska; her grandchildren, Kristin Rogers, Justin Mintz (Meagan), Lacey Mintz, Cynthia Sims, Bryan Sims (Barbara), Jessica Sims, Blake Kirkpatrick (Samantha), Cassie Maynor (Dustin), Sondra Conley (Mark), Renita Chastain and Chad Michaels (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Jake Rogers, Gage, John Brennen Mintz, Tanner, MacKenzie, Amelia, Analyn, Nathaniel, Donavan Sims, Jackson Rice, Devin Rowe, Joe Conley and Addison Rowe; her great great grandchild Sa'montye Sims; and also North.
