With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mahlon Colborne (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 28, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mahlon Colborne to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garnet Colborne and Gladys Colborne (Hunter); his wife Elizabeth; his children, Marnette Colborne of Waynesville and David Colborne (Christine) of Siler City; his grandchildren, Christopher, Emily and Paige; and his siblings, Keith Colborne of Kingston, ON, Ena Chiasson of Clearwater, BC, Muriel Wetherbee of Springhill, NS and John Colborne of Miramichi, NB. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will be planned for a future date.

“Dear Aunt Tizzie, cousins Marnette and David (& family): my wife Priscilla and I extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband/life-partner, father, and (my) Uncle Mahlon respectively, as we are very saddened by his passing. He was a favorite ''fun uncle'' of my siblings (Michael, Carolyn, Jane) and I, as when he was a young man he made summertime visits from NY state to our NS home with his sporty cars, driving us to Partridge I.; I'll always remember him fondly.
