It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Truitt (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 21, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Page Ferguson; his stepfather Frank D. Ferguson, Jr.; his father Clinton Moss Truitt; and his sister Sandra Truitt Rider. He is survived by: his wife Joy Wells Truitt of Waynesville; his sons, Tom Truitt (Melissa) of Waynesville and John Wells Truitt (Martha) of Biltmore Lake, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Truitt of Greenville, NC, Austin Truitt of Cullowhee, NC and Katie Truitt of Fairfax, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Luke Kinsland (Holly) and Lyndsey Kinsland of Canton, NC.; and his sister Martha Sue Truitt.
