He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Hudgins and Arbie Hudgins; and his children, Peggy Steinal and James Edward McMahan. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Stiles Hudgins; his children, Betty Sue Nelson and Erwin Ellis McMahan; and his siblings, Emma Hudgins and James Hudgins (Gayle). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
