She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Alethea Almond; and her siblings, Juanita Skinner, Joel Arrington, Edward Arrington and Bobby Gene Arrington.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Almond (Renee), Steven Almond (Deborah), Michael Almond and Debra Pate (John); and her sisters, Betty Plemmons, Freida Haney and Sandy Shelton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
