With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Bolden (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Mark Wayne McClure; and his siblings, Frank Bolden, Paul Bolden, Hester Moody and Ellen Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Mae Conner Bolden; his children, Mary Lanning (Gary) of Waynesville, Patty Atkinson of Waynesville, Peggy Payne (Charles) of Waynesville, Maggie Bolden of Waynesville, Randy Bolden (Peggy) and Ricky Bolden (Dede); and his sisters, Aletha Hoyle and Nila Brown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
