He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Stewart and Lorene Stewart; and his sister Shirley Martin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Allen Stewart (Donna) and Amy Smith (Kevin); his granddaughters, Hailey, Madison Stewart and Ellie Smith; and his sister Sandra Carver (Lamar). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
