She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Johnson, Jr. and Mamie Parton Johnson of Waynesville; her husband Charles Roy Hall, Sr.; and her brother Eddie Junior Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Charles Roy Hall, Jr. of College Station, TX, David Preston Hall of St. George, Utah and Patricia Hallstone of Piedmont, NC; her sisters, Shirley Cutshaw, Margaret Rhinehart and Brenda Brookshire; and her niece Mary Hendrie (Cherie James) of Canton, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
