He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Perry Pressley and Minnie Shipman Hyde; his sister Frankie Harkins; his stepsisters, Faye Revis and Juanita Walls; and his stepparents, Henry Hyde and Verna Williamson Pressley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Hooper Pressley; his children, Sarra Pressley Ballard of Florida, James Pressley of Candler and Ronald Pressley of Newton Grove; his sister Eleen Farmer of Canton; and his stepsiblings, Wilma Brookshire of Canton, Ann Kuehl of Newman, Georgia and Carroll Jenks of May's Landing. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
