He is survived by: his wife Norma; his grandchildren, Haley Medford Hopper (Matthew) of Cullowhee, Rachel Medford of Clyde, Lilly and Jonathan Ashe of Decatur, GA; his great grandchild Allena Hopper of Cullowhee; and his brothers-in-law, Arnold Bryson (Connie) and Jack Fisher.
