It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Jackson Kelley (Waynesville, North Carolina), born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Jackson and Barbara Anderson Jackson; her husband Joseph Wilfred Kelley; and her siblings, Mary, Christine, Margaret, Dot, Faye, Millie and Wallace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Franklin (Doug) and Mary Jo Reece (Keith); her sister Doris Fuertes; her sister-in-law Vivian Kelley; her grandchildren, Patricia Franklin (Will Ross), Carol Cook (Brian), Jenny Revis Todd (Matthew) and Andy Revis (Nicole); and her niece Sherry Claggett of St. George. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
