She was predeceased by: her parents, P. V. Epps and Cora Bell Whitley Epps; and her brothers, Bobby and P. V. Epps Jr. Karen. She is survived by: her husband Pharmacist James H. Winfree of Waynesville; and her sisters, Shirley Schwartz of Charlotte and Betty Higgins (Fred) of Pinnacle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
