It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Elise Edwards of Waynesville, North Carolina, born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Brittain Settle and LaVantia Pearl Elliott; her children, Samuel Edwards (Kay) and Kathi Lowery (Pete); her grandchildren, David Edwards (Jenna), Cory Lowery, Joel Lowery (Emily) and Rachel Edwards; and her sisters, Carol Ruth Thompson of Proctorville and Mary Virgina Lowther (Dewayne) of Buckhannon. She was also cherished by four nieces and two nephews.
