It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Mashburn of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Mashburn and Ethel Johnson Mashburn; his daughter Mary Rebecca Mashburn; and his brother James Mashburn. He is survived by: his wife Nora Kilby Mashburn; his sons, Edward "Ed" Mashburn of Perry and Rodney Mashburn (Tammy) of Waynesville; his brother Joel Mashburn (Janie); and his grandchildren, Hope Castillo (Armando), Cameron, Carson, Jacob and Joshua Mashburn.
