He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Kirkpatrick and Estie Haynes Kirkpatrick; his wife Vivian Gunter Kirkpatrick; his siblings, Clarence, Wayne Kirkpatrick and Willa Mae Teague; his brother-in-law Wilbur Teague; and his granddaughter Leah Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Kirkpatrick (Bill Wood), Alan Kirkpatrick (Joyce) and Rick Kirkpatrick (Jonnie Sue); his sister Peggy Hunter (Phil); his sister-in-law Dorothy Kirkpatrick; his grandchildren, Blake Kirkpatrick (Samantha), Cassie Maynor (Dustin), Cody Corn (Sarah) and Jesse Corn (Amber); his great grandchildren, Camren Corn and Skylar Corn; and his close friends, Ronnie Forrester (Judy), Darlene Crain (Lonnie), Helen Clampitt and Bruce McElroy.
