He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wesley Garrett and Della Strasser Garrett; his sister Sharon Garrett Gardell; and his wife Mildred Garrison Garrett. He is survived by: his sons, J. Keenan Garrett of Athens, OH, Timothy E. Garrett (Lynne) of Waynesville, NC and Randall S. Garrett (Ami) of Southport, NC; and his grandchildren, Amanda L. Nowell, Timothy M. Garrett, A. Tyler Garrett and Jessica E. Morris. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
