It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jay Chambless (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 27, 2019, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emily Lawing; his son Carter Gage Chambless; his parents, Sandra Chambless and Jerome Chambless; his sister Jennifer Chambless; his grandmother Elsie Chambless; and his pet Vegas. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Monetary donations are being accepted at the Waynesville Elks Lodge.
