She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Newton and Mae Messer Cutshaw; her husband Lloyd Boone Rose; her daughter Brenda Houser; her grandsons, Steven McMahan and Jason Houser; her brother Butch Cutshaw; and her half-brother Joe Cutshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Rose of Waynesville, Jean Ann Moody of Clyde and David Rose (Becky) of Clyde; and her siblings, Sally Mintz of Canton, Hazel Surrett of Canton and John Cutshaw of Waynesville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
