It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Cody Grooms (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Garfield Grooms and Martha Lou Lanning Grooms; his brother Kenny Dale Grooms; his uncles, Keith Grooms of Waynesville and Carroll Grooms of Waynesville; and his aunt Margaret Moody (Robert) of Maggie Valley.
He is survived by: his significant other Mariah; his daughter Kaytlenn Grooms; his brother James Cory Grooms; his nephew Cory Dale Grooms of Waynesville; and also Thelma Grooms (Carter Clark) of Maggie Valley. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
