She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Scott Rathbone; and her siblings, Jim, Bobby, Bill, Riley, Zetta Mae, Ruth, Jean, Barbara and Linda.

She is survived by: her husband David Rathbone, Sr.; and her children, David Rathbone, Jr., Tom Rathbone "Jennifer", Brenda Carver "Grady" and Melissa Massie "Matthew". She is also survived by grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
