James Wilbur Jiles Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilbur Jiles Jr. of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Jiles and Janie Reagan Jiles; and his sister Sandra Jiles. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barnes Jiles; his daughters, Jennifer Tortora (Frank), Fredda Wallace (Rick) and Chrisanna Carver (Chad); his sister Linda Servoss; his grandchildren, Frank L. Tortora, III, Elise Tortora, Joseph Tortora, Alexander Wallace and Hannah Mattocks; his nieces, Amanda Smith and Erin Candler; and his pet Minnie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (460 N Main St, Clyde, NC 28721). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations (460 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
