He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Stephens and Beulah Crawford Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stevens of Waynesville; his sons, Jim Stevens (Amy) of Waynesville and Barry Stevens (Stephanie) of Sylva; his sisters, Eloise Stephens of Cullowhee and Sue Thompson of Waynesville; his grandchildren, Rachel Stevens, Brenna Stevens, Blake Stevens, Amber Cox and Paige Beam; and his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Zoey and Kynlee.
