He is survived by: his sisters, Delores Shelton (JC) and Jean Thompson (Steve); and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Kirkendall (Jason), Lynn Barker, Steven Thompson (Suzanne), Charles Trantham (Connie), Tim Trantham (Nellie), Justin Shelton (Dina) and Shaun Conard.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (460 N Main St, Clyde, NC 28721). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations (460 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
