He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Trantham and Cumile Ledford Trantham; his wife Kathryn McClure Owen Trantham; and his sister Roxie Martin. He is survived by: his children, Max Trantham (Kim) and Vivian Revis (Johnny); his stepdaughters, Sherry Fish (Dewayne) and Debbie Greene (Dean); and his sisters, Jane Morris (Joe) and Daisy Howard. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
