She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Zemery Messer and Nova Parkins Messer; her husband H. Edward Davis; her daughter Joyce Davis; and her siblings, Boyd Messer and Jewel Messer Justice.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Davis and Eddie Davis; her grandchildren, Matthew Richardson (Andria) and Madison Banks; and her great grandchildren, Iva Lee Nance Richardson and Davis Ford Richardson.
