She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elwood Shook and Odell Rogers Shook; her son Charlie McKinnish of Canton; and her brothers, T. E. of Canton, Harold of Canton, Howard Wayne Shook of Canton and Rev. Jack Shook.

She is survived by: her husband Neil Charles McKinnish; her children, Doug McKinnish (Susan McCall) of Canton, Kathy Sherrill (Dan) of Canton and Tim McKinnish (Caroline) of Morristown, TN; her daughter-in-law Pollyanna McKinnish of Canton; her grandchildren, Mitch McKinnish (Tiffany), Karri Shook (Cody), Dr. Tyler McKinnish (Clayton), Bridgett Brooks (Lucas), Quintin McKinnish, Abby McClure (Trent) and Trey Sherrill (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Eli McKinnish, Morgan, Mason, Maddox Sherrill, Landon and Blair Brooks; and her sisters-in-law, Libby, Margie and Sheila Shook. She is also survived by her family and friends.

These donations will help provide two benches in her honor at Log Dog, a sanctuary for children exposed to domestic violence and sexual assault.
