The passing of Helen J. Leophard Waybright of Waynesville, North Carolina, born in Jackson, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 13, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ralph and Flarrie Rabb Leophard; and her siblings, Florence Davis, Mary Bleue, Grace Dillard, Leona Sorrells, James Henry, Carl and Hugh Leophard.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Huff; and her grandchildren, Candy Potter and Roger Ray Potter of Waynesville. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
