He was predeceased by: his wife Liza James Surrett; and his granddaughter Crystal Jones. He is survived by: his children, Harold Surrett (Suzanne), Darrell Surrett, Doris Russell, Peggy Bolden (Randy) and Patsy Jones (David); and his siblings, Max Surrett and Betty Louise Carver. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
