She is survived by: her husband Alan J. Childress of Waynesville; her son Travis A. Childress of Waynesville; her siblings, Jimmy Davis of Waynesville, Jo Gardner (Gary) of Travelers Rest, SC and Susie Slone of Greenville, SC; and her pet Ollie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
