She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her sons, Scott and James; her grandchildren, Davin, Jordan and Scott Jr.; her siblings, John Mateer, Jr. and Florence Mooney; and her parents, John F. Mateer and Florence Mateer. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (234 Church St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
