He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jackson and Eleanor Howell Jackson. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Jackson of Clyde, Charlie Jackson (Debbie) of Etowah and Ron Jackson (Trish) of Gulf Shores, AL.; his sister Reva McCracken; his grandchildren, Tara Smathers of Mars Hill, Eric Jackson of Austin and Stephanie Spivey of Waco, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan Smathers, Shannon, Sheridan, Shelbi Spivey, Cody, Brooks and Bryce Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
