It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Laird of Waynesville, North Carolina, born in Rahway, New Jersey, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Adkins and Mary Adkins; her sisters, Marianne Bushardt and Sharon McMillian; and her grandsons, Christopher R. Maxwell and Marcus Drea Zeagler.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Maxwell (Robert) of Waynesville; her grandchildren, Nicholas Austin Harman (Emily), Zachary S. Zeagler and Elizabeth Ingrid Maxwell of Waynesville; her great grandchild Andreah Harman; and her siblings, Fred Adkins Jr. and Deb Bailey (David). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
