She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Shelton and Nova Morgan Shelton; her husband Guy Messer; and her brother Jimmy Dean Morgan. She is survived by: her children, Junior Messer (Darla), Vickie Conard (James) and Donna Messer; and her pet Chance. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
