He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Jean Rogers Birchfield; his parents, Willie "Hoppy" and Helen "Mamaw" Birchfield; his siblings, Donnie, Charlie "Hagman" Birchfield and Linda Warren; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Birchfield.
He is survived by: his children, Freddie Birchfield (Colleen), Rita Bolin (Randy) and Kelley Paige (Wally); his siblings, Frank "Buck" Birchfield, Earl "Squirrel" Birchfield, Ernest "Pete" Birchfield (Kathy) and Norma "Toby" Kirby (Rick); his siblings-in-law, Terry Warren, Betty Jean Birchfield, Betty Ann Birchfield and JoAnn Dills; his grandchildren, Evan, Ian, Gavin Birchfield, Whitney Trull (Marc), Chelsea, Noah Bolin, Spencer Bolin, Mac and Sully Paige; his great grandchildren, Oakley and Knox Trull; and his friend Freda Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family requests that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the visitation and the service.
