With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Smathers of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Parton and Mable Groce Parton; her husband O. L. Smathers; her son Randy Lee Noland; her grandchildren, Melissa, Taft and Lucas; and her great grandchild Jaxson.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Crawford (Steve), Wilfred Thomas Noland and Donny Noland; and her sister Carolyn Davis.
