She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawing and Allie Lawing; her husband Wilburn F. Brookshire; and her daughters, Beth Turner and Carol Brookshire.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Mehaffey (Steve), Vickey Lanning (Jim), Greg Brookshire and Jennifer Mabry (Jason). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
