She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Dawn Dawson (Jamey Way) of Washington; her stepdaughter Melissa Hinnant (Bryan) of Rocky Mount; her siblings, Treasa Norman (Doug) of Plymouth, Deborah Phelps (Billy Ray) of Williamston, Wanda Stokesberry (Kenneth) of Wynonna and Kenneth "Moose" Barnes (Tommie Gail) of Plymouth; and her grandchildren, Savannah and Caleb Hinnant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel (236 US-17 BYP, Windsor, NC 27983). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
