She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Marshal and Callie Petty Marshal; and her husband Julius F. Welch. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Welch (Donald Bruce) of Advance and Jerry Welch (Elaine) of Waynesville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
