He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Haynes and Mildred Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Reva Greene Haynes; his son John Haynes (Nicole); his sister Brenda Revis (Charles); his nephews, Josh Ledford, Michael Haynes, Chris Greene, Shane Greene and Scotty Greene; and his grandchildren, Josie, Jacob West and Kamlyn Haynes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
