He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Ashburn and Ruth Barber Ashburn; and his son JonJon. He is survived by: his wife Laura Martin Ashburn; his son Christopher Scott Ashburn of Asheville; his stepson Ian Martin of Waynesville; his siblings, Gail Marie Colavolpe (Bob) of Bluffton and Gary Ashburn (Patsy) of Virginia; his mother-in-law Sandra M. Martin; his brothers-in-law, Tom and Ken Martin; his granddaughter Harper Lynne Martin; and also Shirah Lee. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.
