He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Jacob and Mary Hill Schulhofer; his siblings, Jake Schulhofer, James "Johnny" Schulhofer, Josephine Cates and Betty Golden; and his son-in-law Buster Conrad.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Burgess Schulhofer; his children, Ron Schulhofer (Donna), Lynn Conrad, Karen Albert (Tom) and Barry Schulhofer (Ann); and his grandchildren, Lisa, Brad, Jessica, Megan, Nate and Joshua.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church.
