David Dean Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Dean Smith of Waynesville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David Dean may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Dean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Smith and Mary Reindl Smith; and his brother Jim Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Teas Smith; his son Zachary Smith; his brother Bob Smith; his grandchildren, Mason, Carter and Caden; and also Tiffany Smith.
