He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Davis and Minnie Caldwell Davis; his wife Betty Jean Carver Davis; and his brothers, Ben Davis, Glenn Davis and T. Frank Davis.
He is survived by: his son Terry Davis (Lee Phillips Davis); and his grandson Eric Davis of Decatur.
