He is survived by: his parents, Matt Shell and Lucy Shell; his sister Emma; his grandparents, Ed, Linda McFarland, Jim and Carol Shell; his uncle Duncan; his aunt Jackie McFarland; his cousin Chloe; his uncle Chris; his aunt Paige Shell; his cousins, Zane Shell, Jessi and Hunter Chambers; and his stepgreat-grandmother Virginia Dick.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Waynesville (566 S Haywood St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to two organizations that he was passionate about, Haywood County.
