She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Messer and Bonnie Almond Messer; her husband J. B. Sutton; and her siblings, Hugh, Lewis, Bill, Everett, Charlie, Elmer Messer and Edith Wood.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Sutton (Mary); her siblings, Robert Messer and Glennie Sutton; her granddaughters, Cathy Sutton (Chris) of Waynesville, Ann Costner and Melissa Goddard of Newport, TN; and her great grandchildren, Mason Sutton, Ethan Lewis, Andrew, Sol Sutton, Shannon Costner and Maci Goddard.
