Bruce Edward Hannah Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Edward Hannah of Waynesville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Medford Frady and Bonnie Sutton Hannah Frady; his brothers, Joe Hannah, Odel, Dennis and Lowell Messer; and his son-in-law Thomas Smathers.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Garrett Hannah; his daughters, Lisa Smathers, Teresa Prusia and Sherry Shannon (Mark); his grandsons, Justin Smathers (Caitlin), Daniel Smathers (Katie) and Miles Prusia; and his great grandchildren, Dakota and Jackson Smathers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waynesville Christian Fellowship Church (1115 Dellwood Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park (886 Russ Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786).
